About

Hi! My name is Carmen Orasanu, I’m 37 years old and I live in Cluj-Napoca, 18198989_1946409258718667_8126568155561731314_nTransylvania, Romania.

Creating one-of-a-kind jewelry is my way of celebrating the unique expression of femininity in each and every woman.
I started playing with paper in 2011 and I don’t know how it became my life. I was creating recycled paper jewelry for 6 years under the name “The MistiqueMoth”.
The year 2017 brought the winds of change into my studio and the mistique moth became Chiramó.

Chiramó is for the modern goddess! For the woman who is humble enough to know she’s not better than anyone, wise enough to know she’s like nobody else and strong enough to affirm her unique nature in this world.
Chiramó jewelry shows respect and care for nature introducing a new material in the jewelry making field: paper, especially reused, upcycled  paper.

In my jewelry designs I like to mix the paper beads with old and rare charms which gives a vintage touch to the final piece while making it quite unique.

About the paper beads:

The paper beads are crafted individually, by hand. I make them from paper, especially reused paper and varnish them several times using water-based, non-toxic varnish. In the end, the beads have a very neat and vivid looks and are very resistant to water and hard wearing. Anyway, to keep your jewelry in good condition for a longer time, I would recommend wearing it with care and keep it in safe places, away from water and direct sunlight.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on Chiramó jewelry! So, please, leave a comment, write a review, ask questions! I’ll be happy to answer!
Go green! Wear paper beads!
Trust the goddess in you!

P.S. I am deeply grateful to my friend Cristina Poncu for taking good care of my brand image. Thank you Cristina! 🙂
